J.O.Y. Ministry (Just Older Youth)
Hosts activities that address the spiritual, educational, and social needs of Senior Adults. The purpose of the ministry is to provide Christian fellowship, encouragement, friendship, compassion and outreach. Monthly activities are planned throughout the year. More information about these activities can be found in our weekly bulletin. Sign up sheets are in the Welcome Center.
Provides fellowship and a time of sharing for senior adults through the churches visitation ministry. They meet the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. to visit SCC members who are shut-in, in the hospital, residents of health care facilities and retirement homes. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Anyone is welcome to serve. Several ladies also send notes of encouragement to first time guests, members and shut-ins.
Contact Mark Johnson, Pastoral Care Minister at 502-447-3336 for more information or to sign up for any of the events
